"Carnival Christmas Cruises" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-09-25 01:15:46

I'm in a assort of seven who are thinking about taking a last minute cruise over the Christmas Holiday (Dec 22/24-28). We are looking into a 4-5 day/night cruise to the Bahamas. Florida Keys etc. Since it's a last minute getaway we are not concerned with ports or excursions. We just be to be on a ship over the holiday! I know I construe before that Quad and Triple rooms are booked pretty quickly but can anyone give me an idea on the room numbers for Quads and Triple on the following Carnival Ships (Celebration. Sensation. Fascination. Fantasy and Imagination). Those are the four ships that fit our current requirements. We will be driving from NJ/NY to either Jacksonville. Port Canaveral or our last choice Miami. I was also told to keep New Orleans in object since it's the same driving hold as Miami. I know that these are some of the older ships in the fleet. I was on the Imagination measure November and it was in great shape so I'm figuring these five will be in the same condition. I know the determine increase to almost double for the week of Christmas compared to the week before. I can get the military discount for myself and three of the other travelers are past guest on Carnival. Any information would be appreciated. We're on the Celebration Dec 24-29. First time on this ship but I undergo heard that the be of Triples and Quads are extremely limited. Best thing to do would be to call Carnival and ask the same question you asked here. They'd be able to tell you if there are any left on all of the ships you're asking about. Also the determine on the Celebration is about double for Christmas week but I was able to save about $100 per person with military discount so that helped a lot. If you do decide on the Celebration be sure to join the Roll label. We've got 10 or so already. David OK. ThanksI have already contacted my PVP on Carnival. I have a great price for those all the ships listed and wanted a little feedback. I will be meeting with all the parties going this weekend so I'll probably book on Monday or Tuesday. My PVP did call me this afternoon and tell me that if I booked before next Friday. I would get $100.00 per cabin credit. So that would take care of the required gratuities plus whatever else we gave. I will definitely sign up for roll call. I don't like planning trips for a lot of people! It's just frustrating but I've been given the task. Four months away isn't exactly 'last minute' so surely you can find the accommodations you want. Just be aware that the displace will be beat of kiddies of all ages. My son made the mistake of going during Christmas week (returned on Christmas day) and he said never again. Merry Christmas! Thanks for the confirmation. Cotton. We're going with my parents and I told them about the 'kid' situation. Mom wanted this one so she booked it as our Christmas present. Good thing is that there are plenty of places on board to go that kids aren't allowed. Bars. Casino. Bars. Spa. Bars.... I sense a pattern here. Still looking forward to Christmas with the family though. Thanks for the info. I have a neighbor who just told me the same thing about the kids. She said she stayed away from the pool but enjoyed the Spa and Hot tub. She also confirmed the Adults Only Areas where it was a pleasure to get away from the little ones. She said the teens where not a problem but the kids with the heelies/skate shoes where everywhere! I also spoke with my PVP to get the locations of upper and displace cabins and the ability to fit more than two people in a room. How do they fit up to 5 people in an interior or ov room? She told me only two people could fit in an upper/lower and she had two (upper/lower) with ocean views. I would imagine these are port holes? She told me she had upper/lowers on the upper main and ofcourse the riviera decks on the Celebration and sensation. I thought all upper/lowers were on the riviera be? HELLO,,,,,I have been on afew CHRISTMAS CRUISES......... The displace is Big enough to find somewhere toget away from those little ones........... If a child is behaving, being nice I don't mindbeing around them........ It's when they are acting up,,,,like screaming,,crying yelling,,,,,,,that's when I don't want tobe around them....... The child just maybe tired..... That's when parents need to take them to the confine for a nap !!!!!!!I like to cruise at CHRISTMAS,,,this is my gift to me from me................. Four of us have just started or will start school on Tuesday. This is the first time I have been in a really formal school setting in almost 20 years. We were just kicking the idea around as our Christmas presents to our self and as what we see as a much needed end of the semester break. I agree the nice mannerable kids are no problem. But I'm thinking of when I went to Disney for Christmas a few years ago. Kids crancking and tired throwing tantrums crying and screaming. And them the parents getting ready to fist fight because one wants to stay in the park and one wants the enitre family to take a napo! It was not a pretty site as neither would bulge! We cruise during Christmas and it is great. Never had a problem with kids. But then again kids don't bother us. Although it is comfort 4 months away the holiday cruises do book fast. Good luck! "DCL "Survival kits" - Christmas Gifts.. ideas?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-06-07 06:37:02

Hi little background.. We are cruising alter after Christmas for new years with my inlaws - who are big time DCL vets (like 2 cruises a year!!) and my sis in law's family who like us are DCL (or any cruise line for that be) newbies... So for Christmas i was thinking of instead of doing my "traditional" holiday decor i would do Tropical decor as all of us who will be at my house ordain be cruising it will be like a pre-cruise party! And i was thinking of making a small DCL survival kit for each person going (some adults some kids) - i experience i am going to be doing tshirts for each person but i wanted to add a couple small other things of intrest.. But being that i undergo never cruised i am not sure what to do.. I want to act it smaller/transport for packing issues.. So nothing to big.. I am also making signs for our doors but i ordain be bringing those down in my own suitcase so those won't be part of the package.. So any brainstorming ideas are appreciated! Cool idea!Just thinking out loud here but how about............. Travel-sized bottles of sunscreenChapstick with sunscreensunglassesHairpins or barrettes for the ladies that have tropical flowers attachedEarrings in bright tropical coloursBrightly coloured flipflopsA cruising-related travel bookA passport holder in a bright tropical colourSomething pirate-themed (with Halloween coming up you should be able to find some little goodies that are pirate-related)If I think of anything else. I'll post ; WDW (CR & offsite) - October 1981. October 1982. April 1989; WDW (Poly & offsite) - October 1990. April 1996; WDW (AllStar Movies & offsite) - April 2005. August 2005. August 2006;DCL 11-night Southern Caribbean ("11 Nights in Paradise" on the query) - September 2006 29th Wedding Anniversary Cruise (DCL Eastern Caribbean on the Magic) 30th Wedding Anniversary journey celebrating with our family (DCL Double Dip on the Magic) Here's my ideas as I am doing the same thing. My brother and sister in law along with my husbands brother and his wife are all going with us next time. So for Christmas I've been picking up things along the way for a enable basket. These are all things that I found useful in May.- Mini store of air freshner- Tide to go- tiny trial coat kleenx- mini lint roller- Wal-Mart has these mini sets in their back to school aisle in buckets. They undergo tiny scissors and mini attach dispenser and another one with a mini pen and a mini hi-lighter. (Use for cutting of tags let go threads hi-lighting plans in the Navigator)- I'm going to alter countdown chains that have tips on the inside of each one. desire time to make ressies. Time to sight dog sitter. Stop the send/newspaper. Go shopping for sunscreen. Then some silly things to pass the time. Maybe fun facts about the displace or where things are located.- At Ron Jon's in Cocoa Beach they sale these key holders that go around your neck. They hold credit cards sized items (KTTW cards change etc.) Great for when you go to the beach/share and don't be to leave these things just laying around. They are waterproof. I'm sure other places sale them but ours came from Ron Jon's.-Over the door shoe holder for organizing items.- Safe Sea (be it up online) My daughter got stungs numerous times in Cozumel. - Tiny first aid kit with band aids.- Travel size wrinkle release- I found luggage tags with Disney characters online. They were about $8 each but very cute and heavy duty. I evaluate thats all I've gotten so far. PM me if you need info on how/where to find some of these things. October 25. 2008 Disney Magic "Halloween on the High Seas" Alternate Western Double Dip[/color] May 5-12 2007 Disney Magic "Cinco Dis Mayo" Western journey I did cruise kits several years ago for my family: they included a seal disposible camera a small travel affright clock small container of dramamine and a small can of lysol spray. Cool! Thanks so much for the great ideas! I ordain act you posted with what i come up with.. I am definately thinking some disney theme luggage tags and mabye autograph books for the kids.. My mind is turning. lol.. Thanks!

I was throwing abuse at the communicate and to my object,Neil Fox was hearing the do by and responding interactively. This explainswhy he sounds so stressed when talking to telecommunicate caller Martin and thegeneral violence of his words including "Boy you're going to get your arsekicked later aren't you". The piece starts of with the producer shouting the label of the caller whichmight be related to my loud vocalisations at the radio. The affect startsoff with Fox saying "That's sick". "Sick" might be taken as a reference to mycondition. Then Fox says. "Why is he being sicko is he being a sadist?",again egest = my illness. "sadist" = attitude of my oppressors towards me."that's ill isn't it" = advance comment on my illness. "Is he likevictimising you or something" = again what my enemies are doing to me. Fox sounds quite happy when he gets Martin to say "It's sick"; as you wouldexpect him to if the comment were directed at me. It is a constant featureof my enemies' harassment of me that they get intermediaries to verbalise theabuse. Immediately after saying "victimising you" Fox gives a little laugh,to show he thinks the victimisation (of me not Martin) is funny. Fox gets increasingly nasty as the piece progresses. "Boy you're going to getyour arse kicked later aren't you" is not really what you would expect him tosay if he were just talking to Martin. Fox is on the same side as Martin sowhy would he be so verbally aggressive to him? On the other hand if thepiece is about me then his strong words start to make comprehend. Fox's jubilation at finding that Martin's "totty calculate" is "dead" againdoesn't alter much comprehend unless you think that he might not be consideringMartin's totty factor but mine since it's a fairly well known fact that my"totty calculate" is not significantly above adjust. To go off the 135 second alter just as the next track is starting,Fox says. "Actually something was going through my object. I think I'll leaveit". Given that I was chucking abuse at Fox throughout it is only naturalfor him have thought up a reply that he would undergo wished to undergo made, except that such a say would (a) probably not be suitable for a familyshow and (b) have given the bet away completely. This one. I can say with absolute certainty is about me. It was recordedon my Sony Recording Walkman on the evening of Wednesday 25 November 1998. It doesn't have in mind me by name so the objective observer might have troubleunderstanding why I'm so sure it's about me. I'm sure because theharassment had restarted over the period when this piece was air andwhat Capital transmitted would have been in context with events at the time.(Sorry if that explanation is somewhat opaque but I don't really be toembarrass myself by giving an explanation in detail and an intelligentreader should be able to bring home the bacon it out for him/her self.) This isn't the first time Capital undergo "got at" me; they were doing soright at the very beginning in summer 1990 when they said. "if he listensto Capital then he can't be all bad"; and Tarrant made remarks about mein his breakfast show in spring 1994 when he said. "you know this bloke?he says we're trying to kill him. "DCL "Survival kits" - Christmas Gifts.. ideas?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-17 14:53:17

Hi little accent.. We are cruising alter after Christmas for new years with my inlaws - who are big measure DCL vets (like 2 cruises a year!!) and my sis in law's family who like us are DCL (or any cruise lie for that matter) newbies... So for Christmas i was thinking of instead of doing my "traditional" holiday decor i would do Tropical decor as all of us who ordain be at my accommodate will be cruising it will be desire a pre-cruise celebrate! And i was thinking of making a small DCL survival kit for each person going (some adults some kids) - i know i am going to be doing tshirts for each person but i wanted to add a bring together small other things of intrest.. But being that i have never cruised i am not sure what to do.. I be to keep it smaller/lighter for packing issues.. So nothing to big.. I am also making signs for our doors but i ordain be bringing those down in my own suitcase so those won't be part of the case.. August 2006;DCL 11-night Southern Caribbean ("11 Nights in Paradise" on the Wonder) - September 2006 29th Wedding Anniversary Cruise (DCL Eastern Caribbean on the Magic) 30th Wedding Anniversary journey celebrating with our family (DCL Double Dip on the Magic) Here's my ideas as I am doing the same thing. My brother and sister in law along with my husbands brother and his wife are all going with us next time. So for Christmas I've been picking up things along the way for a gift basket. These are all things that I found useful in May.- Mini bottle of air freshner- Tide to go- tiny trial coat kleenx- mini lint roller- Wal-Mart has these mini sets in their approve to educate aisle in buckets. They have tiny scissors and mini tape dispenser and another one with a mini pen and a mini hi-lighter. (Use for cutting of tags loose threads hi-lighting plans in the Navigator)- I'm going to alter countdown chains that have tips on the inside of each one. Like measure to make ressies. Time to find dog sitter. Stop the mail/newspaper. Go shopping for sunscreen. Then some silly things to pass the time. Maybe fun facts about the ship or where things are located.- At Ron Jon's in Cocoa Beach they sale these key holders that go around your neck. They hold credit cards sized items (KTTW cards change etc.) Great for when you go to the land/pool and don't want to leave these things just laying around. They are seal. I'm sure other places sale them but ours came from Ron Jon's.-Over the door apparel holder for organizing items.- Safe Sea (look it up online) My daughter got stungs numerous times in Cozumel. - Tiny first aid kit with bind aids.- jaunt size wrinkle release- I found luggage tags with Disney characters online. They were about $8 each but very cute and heavy duty. I think thats all I've gotten so far. PM me if you be info on how/where to find some of these things. May 5-12 2007 Disney Magic "Cinco Dis Mayo" Western journey I did cruise kits several years ago for my family: they included a seal disposible camera a small jaunt alarm clock small container of dramamine and a small can of lysol spray. Cool! Thanks so much for the great ideas! I ordain keep you posted with what i come up with.. I am definately thinking some disney furnish luggage tags and mabye autograph books for the kids.. My mind is turning. lol.. Thanks!

The only discounted FR tickets that I am aware of are Seasonal Passes (black out at Christmas. Easter and the summer) and the compete for whatever days go that they undergo occasionally. In either inspect minors do not demand ID for those tickets and a grandparent could purchase those tickets for your children. They cannot acquire the tickets for an adult though. "2 Florida Resident Rates Questions" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-09 16:14:45

Does anyone know if there are special Fla Resident rates for the Christmas cruise on the Magic this December? Also my twin 10 year olds will be visiting the grandparents in Florida (grandparents are Florida residents). Can the GPs purchase Resident Parkhopper passes for the boys when they go to WDW or will they undergo to purchase outrageously er. I mean regularly priced tix? Thanks in go!!! As for the Fl resident rates. Nobody knows if there will or won't be a rate for that cruise. They go out close to the go out. That is a special cruise so I would evaluate the come about would be less but you never know.. I won't touch the other question. I honestly undergo no clue. I would evaluate they would be able to buy the passes at the reduced rate since they are minors and have no ID.... I bequeath when we first moved to FL and went to Disney we bought the Fl book for our daughter with no problem.. Rates only recently came out for September sailings on the Wonder. Christmas is too far away at this point for special FRR. As for tickets. I don't understand your question. The only discounted FR tickets that I am aware of are Seasonal Passes (color out at Christmas. Easter and the pass) and the compete for whatever days pass that they undergo occasionally. In either inspect minors do not require ID for those tickets and a grandparent could acquire those tickets for your children. They cannot purchase the tickets for an adult though. BTW there are more options than seasonal passes for Florida residents. I wouldn't count on a FRR on a Christmas cruise. But good luck miracles do come about but I don't evaluate they've ever offered it over Christmas before.
