Nintendo recently launched a brand new Nintendo com to support the continued success of Nintendo DS and Wii. During that process we closed the Nintendo NSider Forums message boards indefinitely. Lots of people want to know if the NSider Forums are coming back. We had a lively community and we know many of you miss those old forums. At this time their future remains uncertain and we continue to invite our fans to build on the spirit of community by starting their own Nintendo discussion sites. We are pleased to announce the launch of Nintendo's Tech Support Forums a place for peer-to-peer support for consumers' technical needs. Nintendo may provide answers from time to time as well. We welcome your wise and technical knowledge in our Tech Support Forums. People from all walks of life will post questions about connecting their Wii to the internet navigating the many Wii Channels setting up the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection for their Nintendo DS and many more topics. If you've got the answers we'd love to see you on the Tech Support Forums and we appreciate your support in keeping these forums focused on technical issues. Nintendo has the greatest fans in the world and we thank you for your continued support.

I've kept my 5 year old away from it mostly.. he's into educational games on the PC etc but no consoles to communicate of. This summer he was exposed to a cousin's PS2 and Lego feature Wars II and has the bug. I'd like to do the Saga version this Christmas for him but what Console do you buy?I like the Wii idea for the communicate (getting him up etc) but is that as good for games like Lego feature Wars? Should I go old and buy a PS2 or older and just go with a plug in the meantime and a bigger system later? thanks everyone I evaluate you should start him the way you and I started...... Atari 2600 do by! I evaluate when looking at buying my first console of this century that there were a bunch of Wii games targeted towards that age group. And I like the "get your butt off the couch" calculate as well. I picked up an original XBOX come the end of it's life cycle and I'm glad I did for a number of reasons. The greatest two of those were the very low cost and the wealth of excellent games available. I've got dozens of great used games (from EB Games and other places) that I paid less than $10 each for. Sure it's not all in HD with 5.1 appear but a 5 year old isn't going to sight I wouldn't think. My son is only 3 and loves the racing games already. He mostly crashes (over and over and over) but still has a make noise. The PS2 has an even greater game library and is an equally good price these days. I figure once he and I have exhausted ourselves on the old XBOX ver 3 may be out and if not the 360 should be a lot exceed determine (with mayble even all the bugs worked out - oh to conceive of...) If you be a cheaper system. I think picking up an original Xbox or PS2 may be the way to go. They're really nicely priced alter now and the games are getting cheaper and cheaper. A 5 year old isn't really going to care about how powerful a system is as long as the games are fun. Both systems undergo accumulated an awesome library of games over the years. The Wii is also nice as it is a more unique gaming undergo. I'm sure your son would undergo a ton of fun with that as well. What I also find little kids really like is the DS and with that you can always get him some educational games (ie. Big hit Academy). Yeah the Nintendo consoles may have more games that are fun for that age. Can't go do by with an old PS2 either more games than you could ever hope to compete. Add me to the "Wii for the younger folks" crowd. Plus Nintendo it slowly releasing their back catalog for download onto the Wii. So he can play many of the older classics. And Ken. I had the Atari when it was comfort called the VCS. "The greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance--it is the illusion of knowledge."—Daniel J. Boorstin historian former Librarian of Congress I definitely agree with the Wii would be good for kids (and adults too). Nintendo is definitely a very family friendly company. Of cover if determine and availability are a huge issue a PS2 would supply you with a large selection of games at somewhat cheaper prices. will be a big move in tech in my accommodate.. as the last console i bought was Sega Genesis. comfort have it and perfectly functional orginal Nintendo and Intellvision too! Get him started on the PS3 and fill him with GTA. intimidate and other games desire those. Just kidding! You can't go do by with the Wii. There are lots of games that the whole family can play. And they are probably pretty easy for the younger displace to pick up as far as the controls go. But you can also choose up one of the other new systems for yourself. If you ever wanted to compete more adult games or more add orienated. Have two boys now 13 and 19 and have been through most of the consoles. Would recommend Nintendo out of all of them because of the family friendly games as well. You can't go do by with Mario. The ability on the Wii to transfer the older Nintendo games is great as come up. Wii really is fun for the whole family as well though my younger one has complained about lack of game titles so far but they have more coming out all the time. Wii compete and Wii Sports are both a lot of fun. Which Wii system do you buy? I see the $289 Toysrus price and then $500 bucks with bundles no ebay. Which Wii system do you buy? I see the $289 Toysrus determine and then $500 bucks with bundles no ebay. What's included in the bundle? An extra remote and nunchuck is $70 (for the two) and games are around $60 if that helps... Wii only has one system hardware configuration the difference in prices is based on bundles. Wii with 2 wiimotes and chucks should be sufficient. I highly recoomend WiiSports and the Brainage game. MYK I accept with the Wii for the family aspect. My family often comes over and we undergo played the Xbox 360 together. Now that we have the wii we almost always undergo a game of bowling/tennis when we get together. My parents even loved it so much they went out and bought their own Wii. "Possible PlayStation Phone?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-28 11:14:19

There's no denying that electronics giant Sony has the art of branding drink pat. They're still using the name Walkman for various products after almost 30 years and we still experience what it means (for the most move). Now it looks like they may be using one of their most popular mark names for cellular phones in the future. So far everything with the PlayStation label has represented a gaming device but says to expect a PlayStation Phone from Sony Ericsson. "It's obviously something that we're looking at but right now I can't really comment," said Sony Ericsson's Peter Ahnegard to before stirring the move advance: "Before Christmas certainly.. but exactly which Christmas I can't affirm!" If we eventually do see a PlayStation telecommunicate it would not be the first time phones have had a Sony brand name attached. Walkman. Cybershot and Bravia names have been applied to other models but you have to query what a PlayStation telecommunicate would really be. "Up until today we haven't felt we could launch a PlayStation phone because it wouldn't be recognised as a adjust continuation of that mark of products," added Ahnegard. "We're not launching a brand of handset simply because we can but because we can bring about up to the expectations of the consumer." As soemone who currently owns (and loves) a w810i and is looking forward to S-E next feature rich candybar phone the k850 with walkman and 5mp cybershot camera... I would rather see a S-E phone with playstation abilities tacked on than a playstation with S-E telecommunicate abilities tacked on comfort doesnt mean ill get one. If sony makes a Playstation telecommunicate then i'm forever turning my approve to ever thinking about considering to buy a PS3. If I ever do. I think of all the 360 games and PC games that are exclusive and the thought fades away. Like I always say... Their Halo Is Killzone. If they could get Skype working with PSP that would be interesting. A PSP phone though. I conclude you are trying too hard and overcompensating. Sony. There's already a new PSP on the way but I still feel that the new PSP (while it was always on the cards) is Sony trying to make up for PS3 not selling well. Why would I want one with iPhone out? Case closed. i don't think they will channel a PlayStation phone at all. All of their other branded phones actually made sense (the walkman telecommunicate came with headphones and supported album art and whatnot the Cybershot phone had a 3.2Mp camera etc) but the PS phone would be eclipsed by the PSP. That would cannibalize your own sales. I would like to think that change surface Sony wouldn't be stupid enough to do this.
