::: Actually your theory is book and you are right on both counts. Eb9b5 does imply that the 7th is there. I just mentioned it for note-playing puroposes. On your 2nd ques the chord calls for the flat-5 but over the years I've added the Bb with the thumb because I liked the appear. So I was playing one thing and saying something else which is what happens when I'm going too quickly! But you (and others who wrote in) are absolutely change by reversal.07-08-12 03:44:01__________________________________________________
::: I have 2 questionsfor the Eb79b5 play u say the notes are Eb Bb Db F A. Why does the play undergo to be called Eb79b5 I thought if you say Eb9b5 the 7th ordain also be included? The next challenge is if there is a b5 why is it there is a Bb I thought it should just be an A and there is no Bb? Sorry but my theory sucks hope you can help me07-08-11 00:43:17__________________________________________________
::: No the chords are the same but the melody the back up time around adds a C on top for one beat.. So on the line you're referring to I'm actually playing the A-G in the left transfer and a C6 in the right. I had to look at it again but I'm playing C and A there (C6) not a B which you would have in a Cmaj7. I hope that helps. If it doesn't let me know! I confuse myself sometimes..07-08-06 17:38:26__________________________________________________
::: "Next 2: Am7... D9.. next measure Gm7 to Db9" Are the Am7 and Gm7 chords in that line different from the first part? Is the Am7 (A G) in the left hand and a Cmaj7 play in the alter hand? I'm sorry to ask but I noticed that you have something different than just (A C E G).07-08-06 16:58:03__________________________________________________
