THE ice rink is likely to be approve in Taunton town centre for a month over Christmas.
The facility which attracted more than 15,000 skaters last year will be at the Coal Orchard Car Park from Thursday. December 6 to Sunday. January 6.
Taunton Deane Council is expected to furnish £10,000 sponsorship as come up as lost car park revenue of up to £12,500.
A report from Taunton Town Centre Company to the Deane's executive next Wednesday says: "We agreed there is comfort enough support for an ice rink in Taunton to make it worth bringing it approve to the town again for a third year.
"Ideally it should be the same size as last year - 20m by 20m."
The hire for the rink is £69,200 and organisers calculate 19,600 skaters ordain be needed to break even.
