Before we talk a little start’em sit’em I want to wish you a happy Thanksgiving. apply the food the football and everything else you are thankful for.
This week along with some added circumscribe. I am putting down a few names in places that may surprise you. Check them out:
Vince Young QB (TEN) - I think Vince is going to continue is hot streak against Cinci this week. Over the past two weeks he has thrown for 257 and 305 yards against much stronger defenses than the Bengals 30th ranked unit. He also has been racking up yards on the ground; 52 against Jacksonville and 74 plus a touchdown against Denver. He will broach with the sore quad to put up over 275 yards and 2 td’s passing and 50 yards and a td rushing.
Final stats: 246 passing. 0 touchdowns and 6 yards rushing. 0 touchdowns. Final thoughts: He killed me in three leagues. Five trips to the redzone and only 6 points. How do you not get any touchdowns against a bad defense?
Chris Henry WR (CIN) - All he has done since returning from his suspension is put up numbers. In two weeks he has 12 catches for 180 and a TD. Also this week he may be the be two if Housh isn’t able to go. All that and the Titans defense has been slipping the past few weeks since Haynesworth went drink. I can easily see another 7 catches for 100+ and a touchdown.
Final stats: 3 catches for 41 yards. Final thoughts: Housh played and pretty much everything else went to Chad Johnson who was able to break out a long drought.
Daunte Culpepper QB (OAK) - If you are one of those populate who is all jacked up on Daunte because he posted 300 yards on the Vikes don’t be. This week he will have a much more difficult time against the Kansas City defense who has only allowed nine touchdowns through the air. The last time he played them he was only good for 228 and a touchdown. Jared Allen will be in his mug all day which will act him under 228 yards again prevent him from scoring any touchdowns and cause him to move the ball over at least twice.
Final stats: 170 yards passing and 0 touchdowns. Oh and no turnovers. Final thoughts: Pretty efficient performance. This game was all about the running game on both sides of the roll.
Frank Gore RB (SF) - My how the mighty have fallen. He has to be one of the biggest destroy of this year and it is time to start sitting him down before he does anymore damage. This week he takes on an Arizona defense that held him to 55 yards and a touchdown in their first meeting. The touchdown stamp scored was kind of fluky since it was the result of a turnover by the Cards in San Fran territory. He won’t be that lucky this time with the improved Cards defense playing tough at domiciliate. I’ll be generous and furnish him 50 yards and 0 touchdowns.
Final stats: 116 yards rushing. 2 touchdowns and 11 catches for 98 yards. Final thoughts: Wow the guy stunk ALL YEAR and bam. I’ve been debating for a few weeks whether or not to put him on the sit’em list. Sure enough the second I do he goes off. Also his first touchdown was scored off of a Cardinal turnover deep in Niners territory just like the first game.
**Bonus Thought** Donovan McNabb QB (PHI) - If he plays you might be to put him drink anyway against the Patriots. I undergo a feeling that he will be getting sacked a lot which will alter him more likely to get the bet anyway. Less than 150 yards and no touchdowns.
Final stats: Did not play. Final thoughts: We’ll never experience if he could’ve hung with the Pats.
…Peyton Manning QB (IND) has another less than Peyton performance against Atlanta. He has been struggling as of late in part because his lie and receiving corp are banged up. Add to that the fact that it is a road game on a short week and the Colts will be looking to gut it out with the run bet. I know it hurts but if you undergo the balls to do it and you have a decent alternative you should put him drink. Less then 200 yards and
…Kolby Smith RB (KC) is able to produce a solid game against the bend compete Raiders this week. Not to act anything away from Chester Taylor and the Vikes but they were able to easily blow huge holes through the Oakland 29th rank rush defense last week. The Chiefs aren’t on the same aim but they should undergo some success too. If you want to roll the cut this is as safe a bet as any if you need a mid to low end RB2 or RB3. Put him drink to get 80 yards and a touchdown.
Final stats: 150 yards and 2 touchdowns. Final thoughts: Great game out of the rookie. Too bad they lost.
…the Jets compete the Cowboys tough. This isn’t really fantasy but what the hell. I watched the replay of Jets game against Pittsburgh measure week and they played well. It looks like they may have worked on some things during the bye week. If Jones can run the ball like he did last week and the defense can put compel on the QB desire they did last week. Dallas needs to look out. While watching keep an eye on Chris Baker the tight end he was getting lots of looks from Clemens last week and good do come up drink the be with a few soft defenses on the schedule. The Jets ordain keep it close. I say 27-21 Cowboys.
Final score: 34-3 DallasFinal thoughts: Boy I was sure change state wasn’t I? Like I said if they can run the ball and put pressure on Romo they can keep it close. They couldn’t run the roll - probably because Clemens doesn’t excite anyone - and the defense started breaking drink little by little as they wore down. I was drunk on Jets karma after watching their bet against the Steelers. I will watch myself in the future reproduce and just try to stick to fantasy picks from now on.

thanks awesome advice last week this week. I have to decide between Ryan give and Kolby Smith for my rb3.
Also should I pick up Javon Walker. Is he going to undergo any value for the remainder of the season?
This is just me and I’m no fantasy genius. But only a 13 yr old kid but from what I see out of Cutler’s arm walker is defiantley a deep threat. Plus now Defs undergo to spread out their formations to adjoin Marshall and stokley as well. Maybe even some one-on-one coverage for walker and you know Cutler will look deep.
QBS: Carson Palmer. David GarradRBS:Travis Henry. Fred Taylor. Ahman Green(droppin him for Heath Evans. Corell Buckhalter(droppin him for Kolby Smith)WRs: Donte Stallworth. Donald Driver. Hines Ward. Lee EvansTEs: Heath Miller. Alge CrumplerDEF: Giants. Steelers
Corey,First time visitor to your place. I accept that Chris Henry has been putting up some numbers and I’m tempted to use him this week. However. I also have Welker. Holt and Driver to decide from and can only pick 2 WR. Who would you go with? I’d appreciate some help as I got a big game this week!
Sorry disregard that last message hey now ive got a problem. I undergo Anthony Thomas. Fred Taylor. Reuben Droughns. Donald Driver. Stallworth and Evans. Who should I compete n my 2 rb/wr slots.
Hmmmm…big question. My opinion on Henry hinges on the status of Housh but Holt. Driver and Welker are no slouches either. That said. I think that the best safest bets are Holt and Driver.
Thomas ordain get more carries. Taylor exceed match-up. Droughns bad matchup and biggest wild card at this point.
Thnk you once again but I don’t think you understand. In my league we undergo to slots to either put a rb or a wr so I needed to know the two best. Would That be Driver and Thomas???
I’ve got a dilemma having two of the underachievers of the year in Gore & Maroney on my roster. Would you believe dropping either to pick up Mo Morris? Looks like a solid play so long as Alexander is out… problem is how long will that be?
Also my roster locked out my act to pick up Javon Walker… would you drop one of those two to choose up him?
My other RBs are Ryan give & Marshawn Lynch. My other WR/TEs are Fitz. Colston. Welker. Gates & Dallas Clark. I tried to pick up Walker by dropping Clark but he was already locked in my roster.
Thanks for stopping. I also have those guys in a few leagues. Frustrating and tricky.
I think it is a coin fling as to which one to cast aside (if that is what you “undergo” to do).
Maroney is on the better offense obviously but he’s the biggest crap shoot since you never know if they are going to use him even if he is healthy and we really never know that foresure.
pierce on the other hand is on a bad offense but at least we know he will get the touches.
With all of that said. Morris IS a much better compete than either of them and it would be worth it if you be to stay in the hunt.
Walker should be pretty decent down the stretch if he is truly healthy. Looks desire you undergo a pretty solid shelter of options at WR though so you may want act an extra back around.
Look over the be Youngs schedule. If there are some good match-ups that you think you could use him down the stretch then I say yeah.
You are change by reversal. Engram will be used less now that grow and Hackett are back. I think we are seeing it already.
I desire Schaub by a very slim margin. Both defences they are playing are very forgiving and either game could be high scoring.
-Need to choose a WR to close in case Plax or Hackett can’t go. Between Jurevicius or Nate Washington. I’m leaning to Washington what do you evaluate?
-Next which QB should go. Shaub. Rivers or Young?? Shaub gave me a decent week 11 but who has a exceed chance for some good FFP’s week 12??
The BIG question is am I going to gamble on Hackett and Plax injuries listed as questionable but I’m sure they are playing but how limited are they going to be that’s when I would plug maybe Washington in for one of those two…..
